Passion the Restaurant, Southside Cigar Club and Emerson's are partnering to present liquor tasting and cigar events. This week's event will feature 3 very fine selections of Bourbon; Wild Turkey Russel's Reserve, Blanton's and Jim Beam Black. There is NO COVER CHARGE. The cigar social starts at 5PM, where you can enjoy a cigar and sip on your favorite beverage. The Bourbon tasting commences at 6:30PM. Emerson's will be supporting this event with some fabulous cigar specially paired for our Bourbon selection. We will be featuring liquor tasting and cigar events every other Monday.

Wild Turkey Russel's Reserve
Russell's Reserve is deep amber in color with a nose that is rich in vanilla, oak, toffee and a touch of old leather. The body is huge, and the palate is very spicy with notes of chili peppers, tamarind, almonds and cumin

Blanton's
Nose: A spicy aroma of Dried Citrus and Orange Peels with a hint of Caramel and Vanilla.
Palate Entry: Full and soft, marked by a mix of Burnt Sugar, Caramel, Orange, and Cloves.
Finish: Muted but well balanced with Vanilla, Honey, and Citrus

Jim Beam Black
Nose: Caramel and vanilla with some corn sweetness and pepper spice.
Taste: Very nice moth feel with no alcohol burn but some nice warmth. Sweet candy corn and pepper spice with a hint of oak wood. A little apple fruit and leather makes for a very balanced bourbon.
Finish: Long - sweet at first with ripe apple and caramel, but it get a little drier as the wood tannins kick in making for a nice woody finish.
