We visited for the first time on Monday, June 23 for our anniversary. The environment is beautiful and relaxing. I always order calamari as an appetizer to compare. This was the only thing we had at dinner that disappointed me. My son, who also chefs locally, at "the boot" in Norfolk encouraged me to write and tell you about this. There was so much black pepper in the batter of the calamari that it was half way through my entree before my taste buds "came back". I think that the desired flavor could be achieved with much less pepper. On the up side...Tri-Brulee was fabulous, it is a keeper. Thanks for an enjoyable evening. Sincerely, Linda V |
