Birth of a Restaurant

The Construction, Weeks 1 & 2
Once the demolition was complete, the initial phase of construction focuses on installation of the backbone of all restaurant services, plumbing and electrical. The trenching provides access to all equipment requiring waste water drains. Since the front end of restaurant featured an open ceiling, it was necessary to run some of the power lines underground supporting the step wall and bar area. Conduit is run in the trench and the electrical wires will be pulled through the conduit to an appropriate exit point above the ground. One exit point will support power to the step wall and the other will support power and other services (cable, phone, stereo speaker wires, etc) the bar.
